Charles Daviet has been photographing landscapes and nature for over 30 years. He currently resides in South Salem, NY and finds his subjects in the surrounding trails, woods, rivers and parks nearby, along the coast of New England, the lowlands of South Carolina and Acadia National Park in Maine.

Charles has shown his work in juried exhibitions at the Hammond Museum, the Art Gallery at the Rockefeller State Park, the Gallery in the Park in Pound Ridge Reservation, the Exposures Gallery in Sugar Loaf Village, the Northern Westchester Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, the Rotunda in New Rochelle City Hall, among others.  He has received international recognition from the Black and White Photography Spider awards and is a member of the Katonah Museum Artist Association as well as Arts Westchester.

He sees photography as a connection to others, a gift that teaches the pleasures of patience, of lingering in the present moments, nourishing all the senses. It's about sharing the Excellent Light, which is all around us, all the time, just waiting to be discovered by pausing and paying attention.
